one more day till spring break *dances*

but alas I have three midterms after the break, so that means that i have to lug three very heavy textbooks home by train, and actually look at them *weeps*

any hoodles, i have been trying to catch up on Bleach (the manga) and i have read 25 chapters in about a day and a half, and let me tell you I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT PEOPLE, WHEN DID BLEACH GET THIS AWESOME AGAIN?!?!?! but i am not done yet (only up to chap 280) but still, it is awesomesauce

and my plans for over the break will be to pick up The Hush Sounds's new CD (or effort if you are justin from MCS XD) Goodbye Blues, which comes out on tuesday and i demand that you all go and buy it XD, i also plan to FINALLY catch up on Naruto (which will take forever for i am 90 chaps behind) and then watch the 2nd season of house and maybe the 1st season of roswell, wow i lead such an exciting life, and is it pathetic of me to be looking forward to the break so that i can actually get a good night's sleep? cause i have been making romantic mooning sighs for my bed at home XD, oh my comfy bed, how i miss thee ~le sigh~

so yeah, i was bored today, and was tagged, so here are three memes

Yesterday I went to the city with Sarah periculosa to meet up with her friend Rosie musictoyourlips (who is now my new friend *waves hello* :D) and it was a lot of fun, full reaction post at a later date (hopefully sooner rather than later)

today i really didn't do much of anything, except watch massive amounts of tv, i bought a movie yesterday called "paprika" at best buy, and i decided to watch it today, since i had nothing better to do.

it was one of the strangest movies i have ever seen.

It is animated by mad house, who also did tokyo godfathers, the animation was amazing, but the story, the whole time I was like "what the hells just happened? it is not making any sense!" but it was awesome!!! the story is great!!! they had these machines that let people enter someone else's dreams, and try to help them figure it out, but some one stole it, and all the dreams melded together, and even escaped into reality, so they had these made parade of random objects bouncing through tokyo, it was fabulous!!!! I recommend it, but with a warning that it will melt your brain.

and then i watched like five episodes of LA ink in a row (there was a marathon on TLC) and i have come to the realization (again) that i really love kat von d, she is one awesome lady, with the coolest tattoos ever (i love the stars around her eye)

and guess what?

I saw the episode with Frank Iero from my chem in it!!!! every time he was on screen i flailed. he wanted a portrait piece of his grandfather on his upper arm, and it was such a good picture, it was the grandad as a young man playing the drums in a full suit having the time of his life. And during the episode kat (who was doing the piece) was late, so to keep frank occupied, they put him to work, they "made" him stock a refrigerator with soda, it was awesome. I was smiling the whole time he was on, talking about how much he was influenced by his grandad, awww, i just want to squish him *huggles* /fangirling XD it made me want to watch "life on the murder scene" which is MCRs dvd thing, but there was no time because we were going to my aunts right after the episode, but i am so watching it tomorrow *is determined*

i really should try to do something else besides watch tv, except all these cool shows are having marathons, like on friday (well all week really) was the americas nest top model marathon, and because i am fierce like that, i watched like ten episodes of it, man i have a serious tv addiction XD

i also have been ~acquiring~ a lot of music lately, from means i will not mention here *wink* XD, i finally reuploaded flyleaf, and kate nash, i also acquired the sounds and the hush sound, oh and cobra starship, who sound awesome by the way. And today i loaded the 1500 song to my itunes, it was...a prince of tennis song...*hangs head in shame* i am a very very sad person who has great music XD

first things first HAPPY BIRTHDAY _cherrywolf_!!!! :D

so, I might have played guitar hero for the first time ever on monday, and it rocked so hard. I am still kinda sucky at it (I can't move my fingers fast enough yet, but it will come in time, or I will die trying XD), but I really want to play it again, and get better at it.

But I have to say that they have the most random selections of songs ever, from "Slow ride" by Foghat (my dad's favorite band, so it meant that I knew all the words XD) to "Miss Murder" by AFI.

Lab today was...a bit of a diaster, I can honestly say this was the worst lab ever for me. We had to do a gravimetric analysis of sodium bicarbonate (sounds fun XD) and it involved bunsen burners and matches (hence the subject line)

And for those of you who don't know, I have a very love hate relationship with fire, that means I am half pyrophobic and half pyromaniac. You are probably confused, so let me explain. When I was little I was deathly afraid of fire, whenever my mom lit the stove I was easily five feet back and watching wearily, and even though I loved to cook I wouldn't light the stove, I would make my mom do it. And ironically one of my favorite restaurants is a hibachi grill place, you know those places that cook in front of you, with a full array of pyrotechnics. So that is where the love part comes in, for even though I would have a safety bubble of about five feet to any open plane, I was immensely fascinated with it, I could stare at a fire place for hours, and at the restaurant, sure my chair may be five feet from the table, but I was watching the fire's every move.

I got better by the way, my mom refused to light the stove for me and said stop being a baby, and I can actually sit at a table at Shiro's or Benihana's without moving my seat back now. And now with matches I am either match happy or completely useless.

Today was one of those useless days. I may be a chem lover, but my high school did not let us play with bunsen burners all that often (with good reason, my year was kinda stupid) so I had no idea what to do with them, and I flailed a lot about it.

I was still flinchy with the fire, but everything else was going swimmingly, till my porcelain bowl with the unknown substance cracked, and it ends up that I did the whole experiment wrong because I wasn't paying attention in the beginning of class and missed the part where my TA said use 1g instead of .5g of the stuff. SO I HAD TO DO THE WHOLE THING OVER AGAIN dhfkhwlfjdsjssd, I was the last one to leave the lab, I stayed over an hour extra, just argh...yeah, I will stop now.

In happier news I am compiling a pic spam of bandom people and other people who I think rock, I always wanted to do one, and I got the motivation when I was trolling my picture saves for ryro pictures for sarah (cause she is doing one for a christmas present) so expect by the end of the week one giant random picspam full of the most random group of pics ever, and me fangirling, in excess XD
