oh well, but I can't really say that it was a complete bore of a month, I did see amanda palmer and regina spektor in concert, and they were both amazing.

but other than that i worked, watched a fuck load of csi, read a lot of books (did a tamora pierce marathon) but i wasn't on the internet at all actually, which was strange (also the reason i forgot to renew my paid account opps), and did what i do every summer, restart a pokemon game, i restarted diamond and im making good progress

i have actually mind written some stuff at work, whole big rants about what ever is on my mind but i never have the energy to write them out when i am actually at my computer (like right now) ah well, those thought will get out one day.

GUESS WHO GOT BLINK 182 TIX FOR AUGUST, AND THEY ARE FUCKING AWESOME SEATS!!!!! \\\\\O///// i am obscenely excited about this concert.

oh hey guess who lives, kakashi, i knew it!!!! i hate the fact that danzo is now hokage, but i knew something like that was going to happen and the whole world is going to go to hell, as long as kakashi lives, i am looking forward to it.

I am also looking forward to harry potter 6!!!! its in like 20 days or something? but anyway i am going to try for a midnight show, and its going to be great.

so hey, i might have saw that new movie that was out, maybe you have heard of it, it's called star trek, and IT WAS EPIC!!!!!!!!!

proper udate next week after finals are over, and sorry for being absent but this semester was the semester from hell and it was kicking my ass, but its last kick is this week and after that im free!!!!

here's a quick summary of what i did when i was procrastinating instead of studying:
-went to the bamboozle in new jersey to see fall out boy, cobra starship, all time low, and bayside, and it was amazing!
-waved to pete wentz as he was driving away on a golf cart and he waved back
-finsihed/caught up full metal alchemist the manga and omg when is the next chapter coming out???
-GOT A B ON A CHEM TEST!!! THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE!!!
-found a apartment to live in in new paltz, so excitited for next year, eeee!!!

Well, my trip to new paltz was quite interesting, to say the least XD. Getting there took far to long because of traffic in the bronx and my stomach was in knots because my dad gets neurotic while driving and is on edge, and my brother was not helping the situation by bouncing around and being generally annoying. But we got there, and ugh I wish my mom can walk normal I really do (for those who don't know my mom now walks with a limp because of a reaccurance of her cancer, it is all around a not fun thing) so she was pissed that there were hills and stairs and that they were kinda unorginaized. But we got the info we needed and my family evantually calmed down.

I looked at three apartments (well rooms to rent within houses) cause no transfer students can dorm cuase there is no room. The first house was nice, the girls seemed friendly, but it gave a very blah impression. The second house gave off a prison vibe :\ it was not a pleasent looking and feeling place. The third house was fabulous, the rooms were painted in bright colors and the girls living there were bouncy and happy and and they had cats and I LOVE cats, and yeah I am going to try to live there it was just that great, the only fly in the ointment is that they don't have a washer and dryer but ah well, I can walk XD

So my trip was informative and prductive yeah! Also I am so jealous of their chem labs they have all new things and its so shiny and white and does not look like a 1970s bomb shelter (im looking at you stony brook) so all in all I was very happy with the place.

I went to the metropolitan museum of art yesterday by myself (no one had off or wanted to go with me :( ) and it was great fun, I was meander with me ipod and I made up stories for the painting and sculptures and I read all the placards, it wasn't so bad by myself. After I went to this great japanese bookstore in bryant park and spent a happy hour there I just wish I had more money to spend XD but I bought the latest naruto in english and the latest oofuri in japanese (im going to try to translate it myself...this is not going to end well)

And I bought the avatar s3 boxset, so that's what im going to marathon for the rest of my spring break.

goodness gracious school has been teh suck lately. I barely have enough time to check my email because i have to type up another lab report or an essay or study for an exam T_T

but grade wise i think im doing okay, i think XD

i am way chipper and energized right now, i think it is because i took that half hour walk around campus, i must say the weather has been completely lovely (except for last nights random thunder and lightening) but i complelety suck at determining temperature before i go out so i have been boiling in my winter coat all week, because i am terminally stupid and can't take a weather hint XD

lol i got way too excited cleaning my room this weekend, i actually squealed with joy at the prospect of being able to stand directly in front of my bookshelf, a feat i haven't done in at least 5 years, no lie XD, and then i proceeded to read the books i couldn't see during that time XD, ah abhorsen trilogy by garth nix, old friend i have missed you.

spring break next week, not doing anything too exciting, except going to visit MY NEW COLLEGE~~ cause i am now transferring out of stony brook good riddance to bad rubbish i am going to go to new paltz a loverly school about 2 hours-ish away from home, and since i am a transfer student there is no housing for me T_T so i am going to have to find an apartment and live off campus

well....that should be fun

actually i am kinda excited at the prospect at having my own kitchen (!!!!!) but i am a bit terrified at the idea of securing an apartment and finding a room mate, damn you social anxieties damn you to hell, hopefully i'll get it all figured out by the time i go there XD

but other than that, i think i will spend break time mainlining S3 of avatar and catching up on manga (LIKE BLEACH omg i am like 200 chaps behind *wails* i miss my big sword toting strawberry), and ooo the last chapter of naruto, i can't wait for this battle to finally be over, it was kinda boring, the only exciting thing was the bit with hinata and then the yondaime thing

i neeeeed the next update for d.gray-man like yesterday, i hate that after i catch up with a manga that i have to wait a week for one chapter, but this is just me being whiny. but i thing i do have a valid issue when it comes to oofuri updates, i know in japan there up to 66 i think, and there is only english translations up to chapter 19, i know it is particularly hard for this series because of the chapters are novel length but come on, is there only one group doing the scanlating? raep_time are lovely people, but they are a bit slow, i wish i could help speed them up, but ahh the only language i know is crappy high school german XD

AND SPEAKING OF WAITING, come on bandom people, WHERE ART THOU MUSIC?!?! i hope it doesn't take forever for everyone to come out with their new material, even though it is kinda a miracle that mcr is back in the studio already (and being utterly trolly and hilarious on their blogs and twitters in the process) but yeah, i need my instant gratification *foams at mouth* and and yeah the end of the month needs to be here so i can go to bamboozle and see FOB

well, i was a chatty cathy today XD, i think it's the keyboard, i type longer on the standard desktop jobbies, i type kinda eh~ on my laptop, that's kinda weird actually know that i think about it XD

i don't know how anyone can hate snow when it can give you a snow day, mmm sleeping in till noon yesterday was very pleasant:D, but walking around in 7 inches of snow is kinda tiring :/

i have a raging case of the februaries and just feel like crawling into a corner, building a pillow fort, and surrounding myself with books and never leaving, which is basically what i am doing, except not in a corner XD, and the only good thing about this is i am making a dent in my too read list, and i finally bought 'The mists of avalon" which i have been meaning to buy for ages since i have an epic love if Arthurian legend, i am only 50 pages in (out of like 880 :O) and i am loving it so far

my computer is still giving me epic issues, i have no idea why it is always getting in danger of overheating, maybe its the fan, maybe i should get that checked out soon before my hard drive melts

so hey the watchmen movie is coming out on friday, AND I AM EXCITED :DD!! who else is bouncing in glee for this?

I took my first test of the semester last week in organic chemistry and i am too chicken to look up my grade, i used to be on the website the second the grades went up, but so many bad chem grades have broken my spirit XD

i have watched an obscene amount of tv lately, i am half way through the second season of torchwood, and various eps of doctor who, and haven't gotten into merlin (the new bbc series) it is epically lolzy and kinda gay :D, it so doesn't follow the legend at all but i don't really care

it has been a hell of a month and a bit let me tell you

first getting violently sick at work and then continuing to be sick for about a week and a half literally seven hours after i last posted.

GOT MY GEETAR!!!! EEEEEEE SO EXCITED!!! pics when i find my camera XD

my computer just decided to fuck with my mind and not work properly, and internet explorer has a vendetta against me, i bet my iron pills on it

and since my computer decided to not work the whole winter break (A MONTH WITHOUT A COMPUTER IS NOT FUN) i watched for too much tv, i decided to go through all my unwatched box sets which include Dexter (aka blood blood blood galore!), Supernatural (aka manpain hour! with the violent swish thunk at commercial breaks show), and veronica mars (aka wiley girl detective ftw).

I then decided to marathon the entire first four seasons on stargate atlantis, no really, all of it, that's 80 episodes in one month, which counting the other shows i was watching it adds up to a lot of tv *eyes glaze over*

not to mention my continuous struggle to watch all south park episodes, and the war is still raging on, but it is so worth it :D

read all books that tamora pierce put her name too

and then i discovered the glorious crack known as doctor who which then lead to me being sucked into torchwood, oooo let me tell you that show is something else, captain jack harkness' milkshake brings all genders and species to the yard XDXD and mmm canon gayness

and then school started up again, huzzah XD and my computer is now semi fixed, hopefully he will hold up for the semester, cause that would be very bad it he doesn't

so there you go, my month of far far too much tv :D, its good to be back

now off to watch more doctor who!

Today sucked so much, like worst day of the year by far.

I got my chem grade back, I got a c, and I thought I was going to do really well too.

I have to get a tutor for orgo chem and physics, and I have to buy a new clicker for orgo class cause I lost it and its not at the lost and found.

I have a test friday in math that im afraid im going to do bad on, and I can't cause I need a B for that class to average out how im such a complete failure in chem and physics.

I really don't want to be here right now

Well there goes the happy that the cobra starship concert brought, oh well, this is all my own fault anyway

Ugh I have tried to seperate myself from the internet these past two weeks (didn't work that well XD) cause I had piiiiles of hw and then a big test in organic chemistry this past thursday (UGH IT WAS HOOOORIBLE!!!! I hope I passed D:) so yeah I missed you livejournal XD

Anywhoodles five day weekend!!! Woot woot! And its off to a good start with hanging out with sarah yesterday and watching zoolander (omg was that movie the best thing ever)

ugh work was long and arduous this weekend, full of drunken stupidity and some mistakes phone-wise on my part (for those who don't know, i am really bad with phones, and part of my job is to be an acting secretary when at the front desk, yeah i was not aware of this part of the job when i signed up XD)

so the grand total this week hours-wise is 31 and 1/2 hours in four days, and man was that not fun, but with this money i will finally have enough money to buy a guitar!!!! YAY!!!

and fortunately, work for me ends on the 16th, so my days in hell are almost up :D, but then i will have no money....dammit XD

i have been a lethargic cow/couch potato for pretty much the entire week /o\ maybe because i have forgotten to take my iron pills for a week*is a genius* XD, so sorry for being awol

and yet with all that extra time, i still haven't caught up with ANY of my fandoms *stares mournfully at the pile o' chapters she has to read*

i think the hush sound/cab concert sapped all my strength XD, but OMG it was amazing and lovely and and i will fully recap it one day, but greta was amazing and beautiful and she had a little lamp on her keyboard and bob was amazing, and so was darren and chris, and they were all spot on, and really, it was a great night. and the cab were fun to! i can see what brendon and pete see in them, they have a great stage presence, and haha after the show me and sarah talked to alex marshall (the cab key board player), it was an interesting experience XD, he high fived me when we left. i have to say, seeing 'smaller' bands is kinda fun in that there is more of a chance to meet and talk with them, even though the cab did have a large group of high pitched squealing teenies /o\

anywhoodles, worked sucked this weekend, i worked 29 hours in three days /o\ and had to deal with a lot of drunken fools and a lot of stupid bitchy people, but yeah, next weekend looks to be better in the hours department, so thats good

i saw wall-e on tuesday!! AND IT WAS STUPIDLY ADORABLE!!! seriously, i was cooing at wall-e and eve, and and robots in lurve!!!! srsly they didn't really even talk, but they were such real characters ♥ i have to say disney did a fantastic job on this one.

and yeah, i has a great need to see the dark knight tomorrow at midnight, but no one wants to go with me, hopefully i will see it next week, but if you are seeing it, have fun!!

i had my first dance class in a year today, and man did i really miss dancing, i just, even though my body really isn't suited for it, i have so much fun just leaping around the room, and i really don't care how i look, it really is the only time that i am not super self conscious about how i/my body look. so it is good to be back, even though my legs are screaming in pain and my scratch on my knee that i got yesterday from volleyball was throbbing cause we kept going on our knees in hip hop /whinging BUT IT STILL WAS GREAT FUN ANYWAY!! *hobble leaps* :DDD

I has a question flist! are there any sites that your computer just refuses to let you on? like it works for everyone else in the world, but the page will not under any circumstances load for you, and you computer tells you that the server is not responding, because i now have two sites to add to my list, buzznet.com and friendsorenemies.com, and this whole thing is just weird, and strange, but anyway, does any one have a similar problem/know how to fix it? cause really this is so not on internet!

so, any project runway fans here? cause this is a first time in a long time that i am watching the season as it actually airs, instead of reruns, becaue tablecloth clothing needs to be discussed XDXD

i saw RENT on sunday with magdy, and it was stupidly amazing, the set was a very artsy looking thing with like this metal trash tent things that had lights and there was a brick wall that played many things such as a fake apartment and the catscratch club, and the actors who were playing mark and roger were hot and the guy who played angel was amazing, he danced in hooker heels nearly the whole show, it was amazing, and mimi was good too, and i loved the people who played maureen and joanne, a+ casting there, and over all i loved it a lot /rambling /overuse of the word loved

and tomorrow i am seeing the hush sound and the cab in the dance across the country tour!!! and from my logicking i think the venue is on the small side (its in the village, how big can it be?) so YAY for close-ness to the awesome! I CAN HAS GRETA!!!! AND THE FAILY CASH AND ALEX BAND!!!

i saw the black parade is dead DVD with sarah on friday, and it was wicked, i so wished i was able to go to the hoboken show with sarah (and really i have no idea why i didn't, but oh well, what is in the past is in the past) but it was an awesome live DVD thing

work on saturday was not fun, we had two LARGE parties, and the polish one was full of drunk people who couldn't speak english, and Alex, my coworker said the polish bride who couldn't speak english was drunk off her ass and was puking in the bridal suite, and on friday there was a fight between this drunk guy and his uncle, ugh ugh oh the wedding industry, why do you bring the fail????

but other than that boring life has been boring :P

but there is a very good chance that i am seeing amanda palmer and empires in concert in august, so \o/! excitement!!!

me and sarah are going to the village tomorrow so she can get her first tattoo!!! it shall be an interesting trip to say the least, i wonder if i have the stomach to watch the whole thing XD

i can't believe it is the middle of june already, it has been nearly a month since i got out of college, i have a feeling that this summer is going to fly by D:, hopefully it will not be a complete waste of a summer

*sigh* its chemo week this week for my mom, and i haven't really said anything about it on here, but let me tell you, it sucks for the whole family, but i know my mom needs it and all, so yeah, but i still dislike chemo week with a passion

but on a lighter note, it was sarah's 18th bday on monday and i made these awesome blueberry muffins for her (the recipe is here if you wanted to try them) and we also went to IHOP in celebration, mmm pancakes, but yeah, still haven't finished her actual present yet, oops XD, hopefully i can do that before july XD

ooo here is a cool thing, this here is a live webcam into a lions den/cage/room in some norwegian (i think?) zoo, and its really awesome, for there are lion cubs, and you can see them romp around with each other!!! even though atm everybody is sleeping XD but it is seriously 'awwww' inducing :D
