2007, so long and thanks for all the fish [04 Jan 2008|07:09pm] [ mood | optimistic ] [ music | Smile for the paparazzi- cobra starship ] Happy New Year Everybody!!!! So, i spent the majority of new year's eve glaring at my watch and praying that the night would be over quickly so I could hobble to bed. I worked for nine hours, let me repeat that, NINE HOURS!!! fucking sadists *grumblemutter* yeah i wasn't so happy about that. I haven't worked since august, so my feet weren't used to marathon standing any more, so over the course of the night i really just felt like keeling over and saying fuck it, but no, I was a trooper and persevered. My place of work had this huge house party that totaled to one thousand people in the building, and they all went through me as i directed them to where they were going, and none of them were grateful for it, the bastards, some of these people even ignored me! i hope they got lost..or or something XD Yeah, it was not fun on the whole. All the people were drunk off there ass and stumbling around, or were having a fight. It was kinda amazing how many couples were having fights in the halls. And i have to say i wish these people would stop smoking, because every time they go out side they let the cold air in, and it makes the lobby so fucking cold, i froze my ass off in there, if i get a cold i am blaming them!! I swear, i started to see penguins it was so cold, I tried to stay as close to the fire place as possible to keep warm, but i had to move around and do stuff, cause ya know, this is my job XD. One big thing that happened is that some one got so drunk that she suffered from alcohol poisoning and collapsed in the lobby, and was pucking into a bucket, she had to be taken away my ambulance, funtimes. I was cheek kissed by at least ten people after the ball dropped, to bad no one hot was involved, but i have to say there was some eye candy among the guests. So my first act of 2008 was working to 2:30 in the morning and falling asleep at 4am rubbing my legs because they ached so much, fun.
